If you are looking for a set of irons that are designed to make the game of golf more enjoyable, Callaway Big Bertha Irons are the right sticks. I don't make this assertion after just purchasing a set of these irons, but after playing the 2002, 2004, and most recently, the 2006 Big Bertha Irons with regular flex graphite shafts.
Like most golfers, over the years, I've tried many different clubs trying to improve my game with more consistent, crisp iron play. I don't kid myself, as a ten handicap, I'm not gonna hit every shot between the screws. That is where Callaway has brought technology to the rescue with the Big Bertha Irons.
These irons are easy to swing and perhaps the most forgiving clubs on off-center hits I've ever played. I can hit a shot off-center with my 2006 BB Irons and still get 80% carry to the target. I don't know all of the technical enhancements to the clubs, but I know they work well.
Be careful if purchasing a set of Callaway BB Irons online. These clubs are heavily counterfeited. Read some of the guides to make sure you are getting the real McCoy. Callaway also has a toll free number you can call to verify the serial number is authentic. Good golfing!
