Some of you are getting in caught in the 'COKE FRENZY'. I am also hooked on the Coke promotion but I've always been a die-hard Coca Cola fan. I won't drink anything else.
However, some of you don't take the time to calculate the cost of the actual prize you are receiving when you purchase the points. That results in you overpaying for codes.
For example, if you want a Disney Gift card for $10 that would require 200 points or 20 codes from 12packs-not caps. Why would you buy 20 codes for more than $10?
If you want a $25 gift card, it's 500 points of 50 codes (not caps-12pack codes)- you have to make sure that you are actually not paying more than $20 to get a bargain. Otherwise, why would you spend the time inserting codes and holding your breathe that Coke doesn't run out of the prize before you accumulate enough points?
I hope this helps you and you'll take the time to calculate.
For those of you selling, the codes are averaging about the same price whether it's a 1 day auction or a 7 day auction. I would list items for 1 day auctions and collect your money faster before the frenzy is over. You can even add the option of buy it now for five or ten cents.
Since people are hooked, myself included, they need points daily to get to the grand prize. Therefore if you also offer e-mail codes, you are more likely to sell at a better price.
