The cable luber is a very handy device that everyone should have somewhere in their toolbox, or tool collection. It is designed to be clamped down on the end of the throttle or clutch cable, (and can also be used on many cables on lawnmowers, farm tractors, atv's, or anything else that has a cable that could stick), leaving the center core wire sticking out the end of the tool, you will notice the inside of the tool is designed to fit around and hold onto the end of the cable housing. Using the straw that comes with most cans of spray lubricant, stick the straw in the hole in the side of the cable luber and the other end in the spray can cap, now when you press down on the cap of the spray lube can, the pressure from inside the spray can will force the lubricate thru the inside of the cable housing, ensuring that the cable inside is lubed all the way thru the cable after a few minutes of short burst from the spray lube can. As you can see this is a much better method than just waiting on gravity to hopefully get the job done, and also helping to extend the life of the cable, and possibly your own life as well if it keeps the throtle cable from sticking in the open position. Here in my ebay store, you will find these cable lubers, at the lowest price on the internet.
