Anyone who owns a Cuisinart Food Processor knows the quality of this product and absolutely loves it! An assortment of blades can be purchased seperately to add variety to your cooking needs. I have found that all series of DLC-8 models fit DLC-8 blades and all series of the DLC-10 models also fit all DLC-10 blades. When shopping for new blades- DLC-8 Series and DLC-10 series will fit SOME of the same blades. This includes ONLY BLADES that REQUIRES a REMOVABLE STEM, this is the blade DISC only. Some models have a stem that is built-in and is NOT removable. These blades are not interchangeable from DLC-8 to DLC-10 series. Metal Chopping Blade and Dough Blade are also NOT interchangeable between the two units.
