CUBA STUFF ON EBAY
At any given time there are 3,500+ Cuban items on ebay. Most are Stamps & Currency Pre-Revolution.
If you have been to Cuba several times then you are aware whats going on there. The country is not a third word Country by choice but rather by dictatorship. People in Cuba are unaware of the World as we know it. It is a dream in their mind given to from travelers. Those who work in the Tourist Sector are a small percentage that know more. They also live better.
If you like the Flag like I do you'll pay 14 pecos in Cuba for a hand sewn strips, triangle, stars in cotton with heavy canvas & brass grommets. The ones on ebay are from China, made of polyester.
If you go to Cuba, get some Cuba, US/Cuba, Canada/Cuba pins on ebay or XX/Cuba pins depicting your country to give away. The Cuban women also like dolls and ebay is full of them. T-Shirts are also a good idea.
A terrific book on ebay about Che Guevara that will stop you from wearing the T-Shirt with the infamous image of Che taken by Photo taken by Alberto Korda on March 5, 1960.
A masterfully written critical biography of the iconic communist revolutionary, and an expose of the ignorants who lionize him by Humberto Fontova. (He has appeared on many radio and television shows and is active in the Cuban American community.)
Nearly four decades after his death, it's impossible to avoid the image of Ernesto "Che" Guevara everywhere from T-shirts to cartoons. Liberals consider Che a revolutionary martyr who gave his life to help the poor of Latin America. Time named him one of the one hundred most influential people of the last century. And a major Hollywood movie is about to lionize him to a new generation.
The reality, as we learn from Cuban exile Humberto Fontova, is that Che wasn't really a gentle soul and a selfless hero. He was a violent Communist who thought nothing of firing a gun into the stomach of a woman six months pregnant whose only crime was that her family opposed him. And he was a hypocrite who lusted after material luxuries while cultivating his image as a man of the people.
Fontova reveals that Che openly talked about his desire to use nuclear weapons against New York City. Such was Che's bloodthirsty hatred that Fontova considers him the godfather of modern terrorism.
Exposing the Real Che Guevara is based on scores of interviews with survivors of Che's atrocities as well as the American CIA agent who interrogated Che just hours before the Bolivian government executed him.
Fontova, who fled Cuba in 1961 at the age of seven, is a widely published commentator and the author of four books, including Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant. After reading this book, the only question you'll still have is whether Che's fans are too ignorant to realize they've been duped.
The Motorcycle Diaries by Robert Redford is a good deal on ebay these days. Its ironic that this movie is so entertaining while knowing that Che Guevara was an international terrorist and mass murderer.
During his vicious campaigns to impose communism on countries throughout Latin America, Che Guevara trained and motivated the Castro regime's firing squads that executed thousands of men, women and children.
