FIND WHAT YOU LOVE AND LOVE WHAT YOU FIND....If you are like me, the thought of vintage linens evokes
wonderful memories of special times at Grandma's house.
I can even remember the smells from her kitchen and take great comfort in all those
thoughts of the past. I have been a collector and now a store owner for years.
Here are some ideas I have come up with for all those great linens you have or are beginning to find.
The first idea is pretty obvious, but look at this great tablecloth...
wouldn't it be fun to make aprons for the whole family for the next holiday get together!!!
Now for the fun stuff...what about using a vintage suitcase to make a dog bed. I found this piece of polished cotton with sweet bows all over it and covered a pillow for the "Beagle Bed" I think she loves it, don't you!

My next idea is for those dainty vintage hankies that you just have to have but don't know how to display them. How about using them as a valance? I just folded them in half into triangles, fluffed them a little and clipped them with those great new curtain clips so there is no sewing needed...
on top of a sheer curtain- aren't they beautiful!!
I just love vintage dish towels and playing golf- her is a way for you to satisfy a couple of hobbies...I took a towel that depicts some old time golfers and just sewed it on to the front of a canvas bag! The colors are so bright and beautiful and it is a nice sturdy linen, so it will be the perfect bag for all my running around!
Please use these ideas and send me more on my ebay blog-blog
