                  Pssst! Do you have shoes, purses, jewelry that you don't use or wear anymore because the brass and metal accents are scratched, oxidized or just down right ugly.  Don't get rid of them!  Give new life to your valuable and favorite items.

ONLY for heavy oxidation and scratches or what the polishing cloth will not remove.

First experiment on a piece of brass or metal that is hidden or in the "GOOD WILL pile." Purchase some #0000 steel wool from any hardware store (you might even find some in your garage.  Used steel wool is less harsh).  With a very light hand, softly rub in one direction.

You will begin to see the layers of age removed right before your eyes.  The accents become bright and shiny again!  First the black is gone, then the gray, then you see the gorgeous shine!

After this procedure, use the polishing cloth mentioned in my other guide.  LIKE NEW AGAIN or at least close!

JUST REMEMBER;

  1. Try procedure first on a hidden, old or less valuable piece.
  2. Use #0000 steel wool.  (used is better).
  3. Use a very, very light hand until you get the hang of it.
  4. Rub in only ONE direction. (if the accent is circular, you can go in a light circular movement).

Don't go too deep to remove the deep scratches.  Scratches will be less noticeable when the accent is brighter.

There you go!!  I've just given you a valuable secret that really works for me!!

Good luck and let me know how this works for you!
