If you've been a CPAP/BiPap user for a while, then you know how frustrating and uncomfortable your mask can be when it's seen one too many nights. From unfixable air leaks and sealing issues, to being just plain uncomfortable, CPAP masks can be an unnecessary burden when they are worn out.

Of course, CPAP masks are not designed to last forever though. Like a pair of socks that keep falling down because of the streteched out elastic band, your CPAP mask headgear will stretch over time too. Since it is solely responsible for holding the entire mask on, worn out headgear will definately cause some fitting issues.

The other main culprit of CPAP mask wear is the interface itself. Made of soft silicone rubber, it is responsible for keeping the mask sealed on your skin against the air pressure. This includes nasal pillows and cushions, also. Much like the tires on your car, the rubber will wear down eventually. This can cause you to tighten the mask much more than necessary, trying to get it to fit like it did when it was new.

So what's the solution? You could buy a whole new mask, but is that really necessary? It's certainly not the cheapest route to go.

To truly get your money's worth from your CPAP mask, replacing your stretched out headgear and worn down rubber interface is all you have to do to get that "like new" fit. Not only will you be sleeping easier from the new parts, but you'll probably be sleeping easier knowing that you saved yourself some hard-earned $$ in the process.

Azure Sky Medical can be your source for replacement CPAP mask parts and accessories. Please check out my current listings to see if you can benefit from any of my offerings.

Thank you.
