Please be very careful. There is a seller on Ebay that is selling COUNTERFEIT 1793 HALF CENTS, 1796 HALF CENTS and also COUNTERFEIT 1799 and 1799/8 LARGE CENTS. These COUNTERFEITS can be spotted by poor far away pictures and double rims. I can not be more specific because the pictures are of poor quality. These coins, if real, would be worth $20,000. These coins are not certified as they are very easy to spot as Counterfeits when in hand. Remember, if the seller is selling a $20,000 coin thats in a cheap 2x2 cardboard holder, starts the bidding at $1, claims to be liquidating something and makes the auction a "private auction". ....AVOID AVOID AVOID . Remember, an apple a day keeps the DOCTOR AWAY.
