Otto Bade is the founder of ORB Jewelry. He worked for many years as the Foreman in Rebaje's Jewelry factory. Rebajes is considered the FIRST MASTER INNOVATOR OF COPPER JEWELRY.  If one looks at Rebaje's designs, they are so futuristic, so modern, and so purely innovative it is difficult to believe these were designed back in the 1930's to the 1960's.

Otto Bade [ORB JEWELRY CO.] basically bought out Rebaje's business after his demise from suicide after his retirement. The COPPER JEWELRY CLUB in eBay Groups has recently (Feb. of 2008) been highly honored by a direct answer from Otto Bade regarding the patination of Rebajes jewelry. Mark, a seller on eBay with ISOLDIT.PA [ID] is a friend of Otto, who is now 89 yrs. old and who also resides in Pennsylvania. Mark  asked Otto  [or Mr. Orb as  I sometimes refer to him] him the question and THE very technical answer may be found under the discussion titled "Buck co. " written by member  of Club, User  ID BIGDOG. The technical answer was entered on the Club site by ID jaguara77 but was directly obtained from Otto by Mark.
