SPRING TIME FRESH FLOWERS -Grow flowers in containers when you don't have a large enough area to plant a garden. Cut and dry these flowers to create SPRING TIME FRESH ARRANGEMENTS.
The convenience of CONTAINER GARDENING allows you to have beautiful, fragrant flowers anywhere you choose. Group containers to landscape prominent areas such as your walkways, patios, decks, poolside, entryways, and in window boxes. Don't overlook hanging planters for added growing areas.
Container Gardens can be set conveniently where you need them. Easy to reach, easy to water and care for. Easy to cut for fresh flowers or to dry them to give that Spring Time Fresh feeling year round.
As a flower lover, living in the desert, I found container gardening to be the answer to the hot, dry conditions that exist. I can move the planters as necessary to get them into some shade and out of the hot sun. I can grow plants that I would not be able to have in a regular garden in the desert. I use less water in containers than I would use in a larger garden. My flowers are easy to care for and provide hours of enjoyment. I use my flowers in cut arrangements and dried floral arrangements.
I have selected mostly perennials to grow in my containers since they will reseed themselves and come back year after year with abundant beauty.
The major cost of container gardening is in the beginning when you purchase a selection of pots, flowers, and potting soil. However, once you have these covered, you're ready to grow aromatic flowers and herbs for many years.
This is a small list of the perennials that I grow in containers. Some perennials that I have chosen are pretty and fragrant in the containers, make good fresh cut flowers and are easy to dry, keeping them Spring Time Fresh year round.
