COIN COPY - WHAT IS IT

A COPY OF A COIN IS JUST THAT, IT IS A COPY, NOT USING ORIGINAL DIES (SEE RESTRIKE). THEY WAY TO MAKE A COPY IS TO USE AN ORIGINAL COIN AND MAKE DIES FROM IT, THEN STAMP OUT COINS USING THESE DIES. A COPY TO ME IS A NICE SOUVENIR, WITHOUT NUMISMATIC VALUE. SOME MAY DISAGREE THE VALUE OF A COPY. A COPY CANNOT BY DEFINITION BE AS ACCURATE AND AS GOOD AS A RESTRIKE, SINCE A RESTRIKE USES THE ORIGIONAL DIES AND A COPY DOES NOT.

IF THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN HELPFUL, ANY POSITIVE VOTES ARE MUCH APPRECIATED!

THX KINDLY
