Wearing clogs is a wonderful experience, people usually get hooked.   E bay is the best place in the universe to buy then new or used for a day. They are usually cheap, they come in all colors and materials, but this guide is only about wooden sole clogs, the ones also known as swedish clogs the unisex ones.

I think the first thing to know about wooden sole clogs is that they all come stamped in european sizes, So is a good advise to know your european size right away, your search will a lot easier. For example I am size male 9 in american shoe, which is also size 11 american woman, this translates into 42 size european male or female  its the same. . so you do the math and find your size or look in your closet  for other shoes and find the europen number in your shoes.

 We have many brands of clogs, Sven, Bastad, Simson,Anna, Toffeln,  etc  they all fit different, ortopedically speaking, Bastad is a very good brand, extemely well made, my favorite, Sven is very confortable but the wood is sooo soft , they scratch easy, simson sucks.. ordopedically speaking they are in my opinion unconfortable in design.Toffeln are just cheap so pay accordinly. I am not talking about Dansko very popular and confortable too, but not made of wooden sole, dansko is an expensive brand, I prefer Bastad clogs, you can get then cheap in e bay, the good thing about clogs is that you love then or hate then the minute you put then on. so many people who hate then and used then for a day or two, end up in e bay for 9 dollars, and they usually cost 80 dollars new, does not matter the brand. So that why e bay is the best place to buy then cheap. If you use too many clogs you will get clogs feet, and that means that your feet would get used to wooden soles, then the rest of the shoes your feet would hate then so be carefull not the get hooked
