Chinese Gas Scooter Disappointment

In May of 2006, I bought an Extreme XG-505 gas scooter for $299.00 here on Ebay. It was a HUGE mistake. I now have over $750.00 wrapped up in it. Literally every conceivable thing that could go wrong has. And some of the failures have occured more than once. The Chinese quality of their metal is pure junk. I have had to replace EVERY original bolt on the bike. It's now on it's 4th clutch. The front end was a disaster from day one. It would constantly work itself loose even when I used red Loctite to stop the bolts from coming loose. I wish I had never seen this thing, I would have been much better off buying a used Honda trailbike. So BUYER BEWARE!!! I am able to repair everything that has failed due to my mechanical background and a friend with a mig welder that is also an excellent mechanic. But I feel sorry for some poor kid that gets one of these disasters, only to have it break soon, and have no one to repair it for them.
