Current Sidekick 3 (and other cell phones) Scam on eBay

I will be short and to the point with regard to this scam.

Currently there are sellers out of Beijing, China that are selling among others, the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 Phone for much less than what they cost here, in the USA.

It is a scam, plain and simple.

There are several reasons why this is clearly a scam:

• Sellers are offering a product, manufacturered in the US, and exported to China. Once in China, the seller turns it around and sell the product in mass on eBay to US customers for much less than what you can buy them for here in the US?
• The seller's feedback is all from other sellers.
• The photos are stolen from other auctions, or is using stock photos.
• The auction description is stolen from other auctions.
• The price on the phone is ridiculously inexspensive. Even less than what it would cost an authorized dealer to purchase from the manufacturer.

Bottom line is if you come across the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 Cell Phone OR ANY CELL PHONE from an International, and in partiuclar, Chinese seller located in Beijing, do not give this person your money.

Historically speaking, eBay has always had its share of International Scam artists. For awhile it was the Large HD Plasma TV screens from Nigerian sellers, then it was the Gibson or "Gibsun" guitars from the Far East, and the list goes on and on.

If the item is popular, you can bet there is a seller looking to capitalize on it with a good scam. Right now it is the Sidekick 3.
