YOU WILL NEED TO START BY REMOVING THE AIR FILTER COVER AND BACKING PLATE.BE SURE TO REMOVE THE BACKPLATE SCREWS TO CARBURETOR VERY SLOW AS THEY ARE NOT SIPPOSED TO BE UNSCREWED FROM BACKING PLATE.THIS IS A PREVENTITIVE MEASURE TO KEEP THE SCREWS OUT OF YOUR ENGINE SHOULD THEY LOOSEN.
NEXT LOOSEN THE CHOKE CABLE FROM THE HOLDER ON THE LEFT SIDE.SOME TIMES YOU CAN LEAVE THE THROTTLE CABLES CONNECTED AND JUST TUCK THE CARBURETOR TO THE SIDE WHILE HANGING FROM THE CABLES.
NOW TO REMOVE THE MANIFOLD.THIS IS DONE MUCH EASIER WITH A BALL HEADED ALLEN SOCKET AND A SPECIAL MANIFOLD WRENCH.AFTER REMOVING MAKE SURE THAT NO CORROSION IS LEFT ON THE HEADS.REASSEMBLY IS REVERSE OF DISSASSEMBLY.
