Caring for and cleaning your ugg boots is fairly simple

Here is some information I hope you'll find useful

Ugg Boots and Sheepskin Boots are made from the finest Merino sheepskins.  Sheepskin is naturally water resistant, so small amounts of moisture will not seep through or damage it.  For further protection to help your footwear last longer think about treating your Ugg Boots with a Sheepskin Stain and Water Repellent, and clean them with an approved cleaner/conditioner for sheepskin products.  Even though ugg boots can keep your feet warm and toasty in weather up to -30 degrees, they are not snow boots.  Protecting with water repellent will help them to stay water resistant, but will not make your boots waterproof.  Exercise common sense when it comes to wearing your sheepskin ugg boots in rainy and snowy weather.

Here's some instructions on cleaning your ugg boots:

1.  Hand wash only.  NEVER use a washing machine, or dryer

2.  Only use cool water, hot water will damage the sheepskin

3.  You may spot clean your boots as necessary, or clean the entire surface if needed

4.  Moisten affected area with clean, cold water

5.  Dilute your Cleaner/Conditioner with approx. 1/2 water and 1/2 cleaner/conditioner

6.  Apply a small amount of the diluted products to a clean wet sponge - Do Not apply the liquid
    directly to your boots.

7.  Gently scrub to clean the area.  Your sheepskin has a delicate surface which can be damaged
if you scrub too aggressively, or if you use undiluted product.

8.  Rinse in clean, cold water.  Do Not soak your boot.

9.  You might consider lightly stuffing paper inside your boots to help them hold their shape.
Let them dry naturally, away from heat.  Severe heat will damage the sheepskin.
DO NOT dry in sunlight or direct heat.

10.  Once your boots are dry, lightly brush with a soft suede brush.  Brush in one direction only.

That's it - Pretty straight forward and simple.

With proper care and cleaning you can expect your boots to last longer.  There is no guarantee though that all stains can be removed, or that the stain and water repellent can prevent stains from occuring, but it will help.

Most of all enjoy your sheepskin ugg boots - They're absolutely the best boots around and will give you many years of enjoyment if cared for properly.
