This is easy and works great! Perfect for food grease, etc stains on carpets:

Carpet Cleaner (for oil and grease)

3 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon salicylic acid
1 3/4 cups water
1 1/4 cups mineral oil
1 tablespoon aluminum stearate

Mix flour and water into a paste. Blend in aluminum stearate and salicylic acid. Slowly add mineral oil to paste, stirring constantly. Store in a glass container. To use, brush into a small section of carpet and let set for a few minutes. Wipe off with a damp cloth or sponge. Repeat until oil and grease are removed.
