I suffer from an affliction of large proportions probably related to some form of  OCD that makes me purchase candles by the hundreds and has even caused mocking by my family and friends .I dont know what got me started but I think it must be evoked from childhood memories of scents .I have sampled literally almost every kind of candle and claims of people who make them that there is nothing to compare with their particular brand.  I do not work for nor am I affiliated with any candle maker but I  am going to attempt to give who    ever reads this guide an objective concences based on over all quality price and strength of scent ,please note that these are opinions formed through constant burning of candles for the past 6 years which is probably going to lead to black lung and my eventual demise and checking off of the planet ,but here you go   1. Yankee Candle -lets face it nobody beats these guys for selection quality ect but their price points are a little high and they retire scents  by the dozens, a very ill advised thing to do to a customer that bases purchases on loyalty.2-  Illuminations- They have closed a bunch of their retail outlets but have a very high quality product and nobody beats their aroma therapy lines. They are a bit pricey but as the saying goes ,you get what you pay for.3.- Votivo the most expensive of all the above mentioned but if you can think or imagine a scent they probably make it made it or are about to make it. I cant find a retail outlet in the area of Colorado I live in but I read somewhere that OPrah thinks these are the best so big deal or you have already built a shrine in youre home for her.OK you can take all other candle makers and lump them together for me it goes downhill fast after these 3 ,its just one persons opinion so start buying youre still in second place
