Buying welder Plasma Tig and Arch. Beware the buyer.

I have had terrible experience buying these so called multi purpose welders. I purchased one from simadretech in CA. The first one went bad within one week. They sent a replacement after I shipped back the first one, I had to pay shipping both ways, so now I am out a couple of hundred in shipping. The replacement when it finally arrived was bad from the box. So now I had to pay return shipping AGAIN and eight weeks later had still not recieved a replacement. Finally after no less that 14 emails later I got a refund less some processing fee and no refund for any shipping either way. simadretech made several hundred dollars in shipping fees processing fees and slow refund. The quality of these welders is dredful. Not just bad, they are junk. If you are going to weld you are much better off buying a good basic no frills American welder for a little more because it will save you headache and wasted shipping costs and time. There are no good deals on welders unless they are a used Miller or similar. Even a good Sears welder is miles better. Buy quality. Then spend time welding and not fighting for what should be a fair deal.
