1} Buying any hand poured bullion unless you were there to see it poured is dangerous as any bar is easily duplicated. 2} If hand poured is being sold by a mint or mine it can be considered authentic if a certificate comes with it.Save the certificate with the bullion. 3} Do not impose a question to a sellor is the item authentic. Unless the sellor was there at the time of pour, there is no way to verify authenticity. Coming from an estate does not mean anything when it comes to hand poured bullion and other collectables. 4} Remember if you buy hand poured bullion you will someday be faced with it's disposal.
