For a few months I have been looking for reasonably priced second hand lenses on ebay, considering this is the most convenient place to find one. I have found reasonably priced lenses with nice starting bid and I watched them. After a few days, I realized something weird is happening, people are buying second hand lenses for prices higher than the never used, new copies they can buy! This is usually the case for popular lens brands like nikon, canon or sigma.

This is really frustrating, please go and check internet for the prices of new lenses and then bid, It is reasonable to buy a second hand, little dusty, a little scratchy lens for , say %60-70 of a new ones price, but it's ridiculous to buy it more than a new ones  price. Before bidding, just go to froogle or some other price listing site and please check its price!
