I figured it was time to revise this guide i wrote it long ago. When I had like 500 feedbacks.
Things have changed on ebay I now have well 2,500.  For buyers ebay is easy you find a good seller & stick with them. You don't see is the seller side & if your a full-time seller the time , effort, work, it takes to put in to your eBaying.

1st: Is just finding a product you live and learn trail & error but all that takes time, money, gas, investing & etc...

2nd: When I 1st starting selling buy it nows you could do 9.99 an ebay took a $1.00 from the sale. This changed sometime ago that is why a lot of sellers put know best offer. We can't put a 99 cent buy it now. eBay won't let us it has to be more then that. Now with the fixed rules. If I do a buy it now for $19.99 they take $3.00 almost 20%. Then you have PayPal take about $1 as well & a seller like me an inflation @ the post office. I break even on your selling fees from your price to ship. I'm glad they adjusted the rules but on CDs a seller @ $3.00 to ship doesn't make anything now. Some DVD box sets well they might cost more then $3 to ship even with media mail & after the Paypal fee you still lose.

3rd. If your a great seller you need quality supplies. Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, printer ink..you know how much that cost. Time it takes to package your item with care. My labor say with a game also cleaning everyone & testing that is all added in.

4th. This ship free is to keep up with Zappos that offers Free Ship on everything but a seller who is trying to pay their bills, get more product to sell, food on the table, It gets stressing @ times my fees sometimes in a month go up to $500-$600 do I profit. Well honestly I can't tell you at the moment I know I'm surviving & my bills are being paid. Trust me there isn't alot of money in the bank.

5th: How much the seller got it for is a factor. Now some over time are just letting it sit around at a high price because they figure it is already paided for. Myself if I get a deal figure out the money invested in something make it back. Then let the rest fly is it good way to eBay. Old school sellers would tell you no but as a new school seller with times changing so fast nothing should ever collect dust. eBay let's you relist for a credit 1 time so you do it once & if it sells you get your credit back on fees for the month. To be a power seller it sad but you have to let things go.
If it doesn't sell well put it aside for a while or rework that item into a lot.
Now other sellers keep their fees low doing lots & just high items but as you see my listings I took eBaying to a new level.
Why? I was just like you got tired of what I paid for being crap & the way they sent it to me. Even to this day you should see how I get some things. You got to take that all into account when buying from someone. The care that they show & the pride. Now am I going to sit there & have someone charge me $20 for 5 games to ship NO!!! Those people are trying to regain their loses from past mistakes. A good seller takes the hit averages it out and moves on to the next.

Listen I jumped off course remember though every time that stamp goes up a cent. It goes up 18 cents an ounce for us. Ask your seller how they are shipping you never know if delivery confirmation is done by hand that alone is now 75 cents at the post office. What way are they shipping it to you & how.

If any of my blogging/guide helped you understand just a little. Even the time it took me to write this I could be doing something else...lol click yes go look @ the prices for yourself & if you want quality. As the old saying goes you get what you paided for.
