I've found when buying electronics accessories on Ebay there's a lot to consider. Some sellers only sell refurbished or used accessories, which You should be very careful buying. Some sellers only sell knock-offs and I've been involved with one seller that sold knock offs as name brand, (of course I turned seller in and got a refund). That was an outright case of fraud, but because seller has over 20,000 feedbacks, (not all good either), seller gets off with a slap on the wrist because of the large amount of business that seller does, even though negative feedback is very high.
Feedback means a lot when it comes to buying electronics accessories. If seller has less than 96% positive feedback I'd look elsewhere. If seller has 100% positive feedback, or close to it, that seller will probably send You exactly what was advertised.
Shipping is another thing to take a serious look at. When buying an SD card for a digital camera make sure to check the shipping charges. I've seen them as high as $35. And that's for an item not much bigger than a postage stamp, that weighs hardly anything.
Some sellers require insurance on electronics accessories purchases, which I think is a good thing. They protect themselves as well as You by requiring insurance.
Sometimes high shipping rates aren't all that bad. I bought a couple of items for $.01 and the shipping was $9.99 each. But even at $10 per item, shipping included, I couldn't find those items any cheaper anywhere else so I was very happy with my purchases.
If You do buy an item and it was advertised as name brand and when You receive it it's not a name brand You should definitely turn that seller into anyone and everyone You can. There's a lot of illegal transaction on Ebay when it comes to electronics, so buyer beware!
