If you buy NIke products please read this....

I have purchased Nike Shox for years. I have bought a lot through E-Bay for myself ,family and friends. Recently, I purchased a pair of Nike Shox TL3 for my son. He wore them to football practice where they run relays on blacktop. Needless to say he came home with busted up knees and elbows that day! The soles where slippery and made out of plastic instead of rubber! I tried to contact the seller to see if he could give me some input. NO REPLY after contacting him four times. I continued my research by contacting the NIKE company (phone number on the website    www. NIKE.com   ). This what I found :

On the tongue or in the side of the shoe there should be a tag with a UPC code and numbers with a date that the shoe was made. THE TAG SHOULD BE SEW IN or glued . I gave NIke the numbers and they were way off from the type of shoe and even the color. The tag was for a shoe made three years ago! It was totally the wrong color and not for a Nike Shox TL3.

To sum it all up. YES, there are KNOCK OFFS out there.  I just purchased a pair. Buyers beware....just because they say they are "authentic Nike Shox" doesnt mean they are. They try to "word" around actually saying it was MADE by NIKE COMPANY.

Ask the following questions:

1. Are the shoes you are selling authentic NIKE product manufactured by NIKE COMPANY? Can you please give me the item number on the inside of the shoe?

2. Are the pictures the actual shoe I will be getting?

3.Can you guarentee that this shoe was manufactured by Nike Company?

 BUY IF they reply with a number the chances are they are real. But I would call NIKE (get it off the website) myself and see if they can confirm the number .

DO NOT BUY IF they reply that they do not know the number because they "drop ship". Drop ship means they do not have the item ...they sell it for someone else and never see what they are selling! I wouldn t buy unless you get the numbers to check for authenticity.

 DO NOT BUY IF they don't reply at all  that is a big sign not to buy.

DO NOT BUY IF they block you from buying any items from their store ..."here is your sign". I have actually had a few sellers do this to me.  Thanks to them it saved me money from buying cheap shoes.

BIG HINT : Try to buy the latest NIKE shoes that have just come out. The "copy-cats " can't make them fast enough.

Interesting fact # 1: Did you know that Nike DOES NOT make a huge variety of colors to choose from in a particular model? If you go to Nike.com , you will see the colors that they offer. Choose those color schemes if you want authentic Nike products.

Interestig fact # 2 : Did you know that Nike has a two year warranty on their shoes. IF they ae authentic Nike products. IF they are fakes....you get nothing.

After a long thorough investigation ....unfortunately I have become discouraged to buying Nike shoes on ebay. There are more and more people that are trying to make a "quick buck " at the cost of the consumer. What happened to integrity? The foundation of our country was based on integrity. When we sell a  product we should be proud  and back it up. Remember when a hand shake was an honest word, a contract between two people?
