Buying and Selling for Charity on eBay

eBay is a great place to support your favorite charities as a buyer or a seller.  Whether you're raising money for your own organization or want to help out others, eBay can help out either way.

Buying Basics

As a buyer, you can buy items from charities or from sellers who have agreed to give a portion of their sales to a designated charity.  Lisitngs with this icon have agreed to donate to charity:

To find items, browse through the eBay Giving Works site or specify on the Advanced Search Page that you only want to see items that are part of eBay Giving Works

Selling Basics

You've got two options as a seller:

1. You can register your organization with Missionfish, eBay's charity partner.  This allows you to get others to donate their proceeds on behalf of your charity.
2. Any seller can sell for any charities already registered here.

With the recent tragedies going around in the world, I've been trying to donate a portion of my sales to different organizations and give preference to seller's who donate when I'm buying...
