As i was looking to buy an MP4 player, i came across many guides, reviews, and feedbacks about them. I have compacted all of this information into a small checklist to go over before buying an mp4 player.
1. Check feedback of the seller. Focus on the mp4 players sold. Search for the negatives and neutrals and find out why they were given. This will tell you how people react to the seller and the product.
2. Check Returns Policy. Anything worth buying that is quality should have a warranty or returns policy. If the seller is not confident enough in their product to offer that, then don't buy.
3. Check Location of Seller. A lot of them sell from China. Nothing is wrong with China, but if you are outside of China you have higher shipping costs especially if there is a return.
4. For now don't buy any with memory above 2GB. There are many reports of them being hacked and having the memory chips altered to display more memory than it has. Unless you have information that the memory chips are legit, i do not recommend buying anything with a memory over 2GB for now.
5. Give yourself time to do the research. A lot of these things jump about 15 dollars in price within half an hour of ending because there is a bidding frenzy at what appears to be a deal. Be above the influence. Do your research first. You can even go a step above and check the internet for the model you are considering to see what people had to say. I hear the quality does not last too long on them.
This is my Quick Buying Guide.
