TAYLORVALUESALES eBaystore
First and foremost ask the Seller every single question there can be asked about the axe. If he seems bothered
or is unsure or if you notice anything outside the ordinary in his/her response then walk. There will always be another deal.
Never buy a guitar or for any item without an iron clad return policy.
If the Seller only accepts some form of payment that is not within the traditional transaction operations that occur on eBay, this does not always mean, this is a walk. Here's why, many Sellers hate paying PayPal their fees so they prefer the Money Order or some for of payment of the like.
Look, you can examine the serial numbers, the grooves in the pictures on the listing, the shade of color etc... you get the picture. If you want to avoid scam, play the Seller, get to know him. Use your gut. Remember if there is something about the guitar that is not understandable, then there is a very good reason one cannot understand it. Namely, the Seller has attempted and in many cases successfully hides the truth about the guitar.
I know that there is the argument that you really do not know a guitar until you have had a chance to play it for a while. I couldn't agree more - use the return policy!
Watch that shipping. Guitars, on average costs about $20 to ship within the states via USPS. This will include the case. I see $40 and $50 charges for shipping all the time. It quite simply does not cost this much. Now ask yourself, if the Seller is unethical in this regards, I wonder what he has in store for me in the listing? Investigate everything and then investigate some more. Annoy the Seller with your questions, this is his job.
Finally, there is no such thing as your dream guitar. Remember this at all times. There is another one identical to the one you are looking at purchasing in that instant and if it is meant to happen it will and you will have yourself a great guitar. On the otherwise, there is no such thing as a one of a kind or limited edition, because guess what, this is a free market economy and as long as these axes are making money they are going to make more and they are going to improve upon them, and I don't care how old your masterpiece is.
Please just be cautious and never hesitate to contact me with any questions!
