There are many sites offering custom embroidered items.  When you bid on or buy them, you must realize that you need to provide the seller with your information.  Too often the buyer never lets the seller know what they want embroidered.  When the item is held pending the buyer's instructions the buyer gets angry because they don't have their purchase yet. If the seller sends the item without embroidery the buyer will be angry because they purchased custom embroidery.  If the seller holds the item waiting for instructions the buyer will get angry because they haven't received their purchase.  It is a lose, lose situation for the seller.

The solution for this is communication. Always ask, ask and ask again what the buyer wants custom embroidered.  The buyer sometimes are slow to respond, but keep asking.  As long as you keep emailing the buyers you have kept up your end of the bargain.  As a buyer know this is your opportunity to get anything done that you want.  The sellers can't read your mind, so you need to ask questions. Ask what is available to you, tell the seller about things and designs you have in mind. Always tell the seller what colors you want your design.  Though the seller is probably very good with their colors, their taste and your taste are not necessarily the same.  To get what you want you must remember you must ask for it!

Even the simpliest thing as lettering can be someting you must give your preference on.  You usually have your choice of print or script and color.  If you leave it up to the seller, chances are their taste and yours are at opposite ends of the spectrum.  Your seller might think that yellow lettering on a red shirt is fabulous, but you on the other hand may think it is awful.  There is one basis key to sum this all up.  To maximize your purchase, ask for exactly what you want to receive.  If you ask for it, and you receive something your not happy with, it is your own fault.

The sellers only want the buyers to be satisfied with their purchases, so the responsibility lies on both ends of the transaction.  In summary, the sellers of custom embroidery must ask, and ask, and if they don't get an answer ask again! The buers must ask for what they want.  If every party takes their own responsibility for the transaction it will go smoothly and everyone will be happy!
