Macs are fandidallyastic! I just made the switch a few weeks ago after
they introduced the new MacBook Pro 17 inch. Immediately when I took it
out of the box I knew I would never purchase a Windows computer again.
I was a little scared to make the switch at first but then I thought
the worst case scenario would be I would have to install Boot Camp and
Windows XP on it and I would use windows on an incredibly attractive
laptop. After using a Mac for a few days I relized I dont use much
software so what is the issue? There isnt one! Oh yeah, I am always
afraid that I might miss those very fun viruses that make your computer
crash every 3 hours and get rid of all the information on the hard
drive. Macs are incredibly fun. . . like widgets for instance, all I
have to do is put my cursur in the bottom left corner and I see all my
emails, all the items I'm selling on ebay, I have the weather, I can
track flights and know exactly where an airplane is, and I can play
games like snake, frogger, and pong, and best of all I can add more at
any time I' would like just by going to apple.com I can choose from
over 600 widgets. I am only just scratching the surface with the
widgets. I can search my whole computer and get instant results with
spotlight. I can do free video conferences with the built in iSight
camera and iChat. I can take funny pictures with Photo Booth and the
built in iSight, I can edit pictures and order prints right from
iPhoto, I can create movies with iDVD and iMovie, and I can put movies
on my iPod with handbrake.
