So far, no where on EBAY does it recommend to sellers not to give out the ESN/DEC/HEX numbers of the phone. Without this information, the buyer cannot verify the phone with the service provider. The buyer is taking a huge gamble that the seller is being truthful that the phone is not lost or stolen, or that the phone is able to be reactivated by another customer. I think the seller should have to provide this information. Sellers are refusing to give any of this information and some are indicating that they have called the cell service providers and have verified the phone is free/clear/ and can be reactivated. I think Ebay should make the sellers provide the information of the phone to the ebay bidders.
