How to Buy Wholesale Accessories Lots, the how tos' of buying Gymboree, Made to Match & other accessory lots.

Are accessory lots worth it or not? Many times it is the accessory that makes the outfit? Many times you wish you had purchased that little hair bow, headband or bracelet and now the store is sold out!

YES I do like accessory lots. I think sometimes you can find some great finds!! Gymboree accessory lots and made to match Gymboree hairbows, hairblings and other hairflair lots are great. I even like the necklaces, bracelets and other gems that match hair accessories. You never know when you wished you would have a purse, tote, sunglasses, socks or other accessories.

Here is a little rundown of what you want to make certain you see in the listing.

A Retail Value, that way you have a good idea of exactly the Retail Value you are considering purchase on.

Many lots have auction style listings, some have fixed priced, buy it now and even best offer. All of these listings are good, just you want to know what the value is beforehand. You certainly don't want to see a pile of photos of accessories and have no idea one the value?

If you see a lot retailed at about $100.00 to $200.00 then you really don't want to pay more than $35.00 to $85.00 as that is about the "going rate" sometimes they do sell for more and sometimes for less in auctions. However buy it now and fixed price is about this for the going selling price.  I would say for look at the shipping rates also, don't just bid right away, make certain that the shipping is "fair", "reasonable", sometimes you can get taken. The range for shipping on a lot of $100.00-$200.00 should range from as low as $8.50 to as high as $25.00 depending if there is allot of heavy or light weight accessories. Sometimes accessory lots include shoes, totes, bags, belts that can weigh more than just hairflair, blings and jewelry.

Now if you are looking at a accessory lot that is a perhaps a little more retail value. Let's just say a value of $201.00-$325.00 I certainly would say look at it closely, really check the shipping charges. Many lots over the $201.00 range can sell for anywhere from $94.00 as high as $170.00 so make certain when you spend the money you have a good idea of the acutal value. There is nothing more upsetting than to buy a lot and have only a value of $210.00 when you thought it was $250.00.

Watch the shipping and if there are heavy accesories included such as shoes & totes it may cost more than just hairflair & socks. Remember it is all about researching the offerings, who sells and who ships for an average amount. IF you see 5 lots all similar, one is really high shipping almost double of that of the other 4 then you know that shipping is jacked up.

If you see low price shipping, I don't get worried, it's just that that particular seller likes to promote themselves with a "fair" "good shipping deals". Shipping for a lot over $201.00  to $325.00 I would say light weight items lot $15.00-$25.00 heavier lot $15.00-$30.00

If you look at a huge accessory lot such as $326.00-$450.00 I would say the selling price is about $120.00 to $250.00 and shipping cost for a lot this range would vary about $15.00-$35.00

If you look at a Mega Inventory accessory lot, $451.00-$1000.00 or more well the selling price you do get more for your money. I noticed the smaller lots go for more and larger accessory lots go for less? When you add in a per item actual cost at the end. The price range on a lot this size would vary about $199.99 to $419.00 and shipping cost would vary depending on weight if its more hairflair or more totes and shoes or socks and jewelry etc..but the average range would be about $25.00 to about $45.50

I would always check the sellers feedback on their previous lot selling. See what others say, that is the best way to really know how good past lots have been.

Another big pointer to offer you is to try to find out exactly what is included. I like to know the actual items. I like to see the actual photos. Many times you see great pics of great accessories and the lot may or maynot be what the photos show.

I hope this helps.
