With the advent of Digital the market for vintage or antique photographs seems to be growing everyday. There are many reasons for collecting or buying these earliest photographs but if you know what you are looking for, it makes the journey worth the trip! For everyone collecting there are as many sellers selling. Each seller has a different look and era to their stores and listings and when you find one that is right for you it's a match that is beneficial for both seller and buyer. Many sellers in this catagory are specific and you can do well to shop around but first think about the following important aspects of your photo treasure hunt while looking.

There are as many reasons to collect as there are images so being focused on your needs helps to narrow the decisions. When you decide what you will do with your photos then try several sellers out to see what services they offer, fast shipping, the price of shipping, nice packaging, fair prices, good selection. Here again you are able to narrow down your search. Will you buy from overseas sellers and get a better price but pay bigger ship charges, again a concern, one that you can weigh and decide on. There are choices, choices.  Another important thing to consider...what era of photography are you looking for.  Many sellers are very specific to what era, color, black and white 1800-1900 and so on. This will also help to narrow the huge selection that is out there on ebay.
