Hi, first let me say yes I do personally buy used kids clothes right here on Ebay. Most of the brands I buy I am familiar with. Make sure you know your brands before buying or ASK questions. Not all brands measure up even when they are expensive department store buys.

 I have seen a ton of OTB (One Tough Brand) boys jeans listed. I bought about 15 pair of these NEW from Dillards 2 years ago for my 3 boys and after one wash they shrunk up approximately 2 -3 inches and my boys looked like they were waiting for a flood. If mine were brand new from the store and did this I am willing to bet they all have this problem. Another one that tends to shrink if not pre-washed are cotton shirts (like the cute little t-shirts Walmart sells)

If you are not familiar with the brand for sell ASK about the item, trust me your kids will not be happy if their new jeans Mom or Dad bought them are up around their knees and the shirt fits like a wetsuit.
