With over 100 auctions out there, finding that winning game peice may be harder than you think. However, this guide will give you the in's and out's of buying Subway Scrabble Game Pieces on Ebay.

The first thing you need to know is need. You should ask yourself, "How much do I really need this piece?" If your answer is a lot then go ahead and consider it. If your answer is not much or unsure, you might want to go back to Subway, look at the official game board and make your decision with a little more info.

After determining how much you need, next is to go through the price. Now Letters like "R" or "I" are the most fequent letters. What you need to ask yourself here is, "Would it be cheaper to buy it here, or would it be better to go to Subway and get and sandwhich and drink out of the deal." Sometimes, it's just better to go to Subway. However, some letters are uncommon or very rare. Such letters would be "F" or "Y". This is where a lot of your decisions will be made. But price is not enough. Think about the other things.

Security is the most important step. You have to reasearch a few thing to make your decision. Here is my list of secure buying:

  1. Check the Picture - Be careful with a stock photo, it may be a sign of a scam.
  2. Check Feedback Rating - For all items (not only Subway Scrabble) should you do this.
  3. Check Shipping Price and Return Policy* - A heavy shipping price for a tiny little letter is a horrible buy.

* If the item has a return policy, remember this - the code on the game peice should be unused. If the code was used and you try to return it, the seller may try to blame you for trying to lie just to get another peice. Be very carful with the return policy!

If the auction you're looking at passed all three checks - Need, Price, and Security; you may go ahead and bid on the item. Remember to only bid to the highest amount you want it. Otherwise, you may get the same peice at Subway the day the auction ends for $13.73, Ouch!

Here is some other helpful information in buying a Subway Scrabble Game Piece:

  • It is not at all a lottery ticket, gambling, or a wager. Do not worry that you are violating Ebay Policies.
  • Don't fall for the $10,000 auctions that says, "I can't claim the $100,000 prize so I'm selling it for a fraction of it."
  • Sometimes when you search for Subway Scrabble, identicial listings from your favorite seller may be hidden. Find the yellow box at the bottom of the page and click what it says to click to unhide repeted listings.
  • The letters "G, F, N, A, P, V, Y, U, and W are rare. Getting these letters will most likely let you win.
  • A 21 oz. drink at Subway with one game piece costs about $1.21. Think of this when determining need and price.
  • If the seller is shipping U.S. First Class Mail, remember, the price of a stamp is $0.42. Don't let them charge you $1.99 for shipping.
  • Read the description carefully, sometimes it will come with a added bonus like a free offical collecting board or a Instant Win cookie.
  • No matter how cheap, let someone else buy from first time Ebay users, it just isn't worth the risk.
  • All In-Restaurant instant win game pieces expire on 10/13/08

Because this guide is for buyers, here is only a limited amount of tips if you think about selling:

  • Is it worth it - every listing costs fees
  • Too much competition - way earlier when there was only 16 listings, you could set the price anywhere under $1.99 and people would buy. Now they won't. Maybe your better off entering all of the extras online for a chance to win the instant win.
  • Too much hassle - it's not that much fun selling trust me!

One last reminder, if you wish to obtain free Subway Scrabble Game Pieces, send name, address, city, state, zip code and a self-addressed postage stamped envelope to:

Subway Scrabble Free Game Piece Request
P.O. Box 7354

I hope you gained information from the guide to Buying Subway Scrabble Game Pieces. Now you can use Ebay to get you closer to win while getting a good deal at the same time!
