Have you seen people sell their sportscards collections for $5/$10/$15 LOTS and they post pics of all kinds of nice PSA, BGS, Jerseys, Autographs, Rookies, Hard to find game memorbillias and all sorts of expensive cards. Well those people who post these kinds of auctions usually tend to just rip people off and make a good profit out of them. Then end up giving you 35 cards of commons and maybe 1 decent card which still doesnt justify the cost of the LOT you spent.
Make sure you check their feedback and see what others write about the previous transaction or experiences they had with the same LOT. You want to see a consistant positive feedback from a seller that has been selling their sportscards LOT.
You also want to check to see what you are actually going to get in the LOT you pay for.
For example.... I sell lots on ebay, card shows, and other sites... I let the buyer know what they are going to expect from my LOT. My lot usually consist of paying total of $2.49 and guaranteed of 5-10 cards that equal $15+ book value. This way they know...what they can expect. Average book value on each card would be $1.50.
Just becareful not to waste your money on LOTs if you dont know what exactly you are getting. Its a gamble. If you like surprises then I say.... good luck.
