I took this information directly from the Callaway Golf web-site. Read on! Don't be duped!

To protect our valued customers from fraud, Callaway Golf shares the following warning:

Consumers in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada have recently purchased sets of so-called "brand new Callaway Golf clubs" at very low prices on eBay.com and other Internet auction sites. These clubs and bags were in fact low-quality fakes. (Mostly from China.) Callaway Golf's authorized retailers are not permitted to sell new Callaway Golf clubs on eBay.com. (But they do!)

To obtain authentic Callaway Golf clubs, buy only from authorized retailers listed in our website locator. For certified used Callaway Golf clubs, buy from an authorized retailer or go to [blank] Learn more about how you can protect yourself from counterfeiters. Read [blank] Should you have a question, or require advice on how to purchase authentic Callaway Golf clubs, please call 800-588-9836, or email us at [blank]. Also, eBay.com does not permit the auction of counterfeit items and welcomes reports of suspicious activity. (Getting them to take action is another story entirely.)

Ebay would not permit me to include the links to the Callaway web-site, but you can still contact them with the number provided above, or visit their web-site at callawaygolf.com & follow the links. Inform eBay of the frauds & pressure them to take the appropriate action. As to buying clubs on eBay, any clubs, just follow these good, common sense rules and you should be okay. Check the sellers' feedback rating. Read the feedbacks. If they have even one negative for selling a fake,...move on. Ask them for serial numbers that you can verify. If they are not willing to provide one,...move on. Never, ever buy clubs that are coming from China. (Or anything else, for that matter.) Ever! It's just not worth the many inherent risks involved. (China is still, hands down, the worlds' largest producer of cheap fakes/knock-offs of just about everything that exists.) I hope that this guide is helpful to you. Good luck to you all & remember to keep it in the fairway.
