Hi and Welcome to my Guide titled
Buying Pre-Order Items- Do's & Dont's
I am writing this guide due to a couple of questions that I have recieved from some of my customers about our pre-sell or pre-order items. So I guess I will start out this guide by just going over my experiences with ordering items that are pre-sells in the real world from a couple of different comic shops.
I would go in to ( what at the time anyway ) was my favorite comics shop, look thru their copy of what was their pre-book catalog for future items for sale, once in a while find something that I really wanted and placed an order for said certain item, sometime requiring a deposit and sometimes not. Well a couple of weeks would pass, and I would ask about the item and when it was due in. Alot of the time, my so called favorite store would have forgotton my pre-order alltogether and I would be left in the lurch. So what have I learned that I am going to share with you here....
1) Always look at when the item that you are pre-ordering ends- in other words is there a limit as to how long the item is actually a pre-sell.
2) Ask questions of the seller- As far as I am concerned, it is just great customer service from a seller if they answer questions and concerns that you have before and after you place your order for a pre-sell item they are offering.
3) Read the entire listing- This is very important and this is your responsibility to read the whole listing for any and all infomation before you make your purchase. The description is going to( hopefully ) tell you everything you need to know about the item you are looking to purchase including when the pre-sell on the item will end. Ask questions when in doubt.
4) Trust between Buyer and Seller-In the end, this is the most important factor in your purchase from the seller. Look at the seller's feedback rating, policies, shipping charges, and again......ASK QUESTIONS TO SATISFY YOURSELF before making your purchase.
Well that's all I have to share with you about pre-sell items and I hope everyone who reads his finds it of some help.
