Something I found out today with a shock when my PS3 crashed.. If it's not from the country you live in, you may not be able to get it repaired by the dealers. I live in South Africa, where we use the PAL format, but have a PS3 from USA, NTSC format. The distributor here will not repair it at all due to the different agreements set up in each country. I have to either send it back to the USA or find someone who works from home & thinks they can fix it, & take a chance on them.. So before you buy from a different country, or more specifically, a different format/region, make sure your local distributor will repair it, just in case something goes wrong!
