Hello my name is Zamiro aka Urban Picasso. I have been selling my arwork along with my friends artworks for years now, and have a great reputation on ebay. In this time I have seen many artist and works of art pass through ebay. I've learned how to research paintings and spot fakes in the gallery view. Being A artist Myself I thought I would share my information and thoughts to anyone who may be thinking about buying original Artwork On ebay.

1) Terms are very important. A Simple term can be expressed to mean many things in art speek. Original Glicee, original reprint, original Lithograph etc.. The list goes on and On. Be sure to Rewiew The Listing carefully and look at the best picture you can get. Don't be afraid to ask the seller to send larger or more detailed photos.

2) If its Original from the artist odd are you should be abel to conact the Seller. Most artist are happy to hear comments and that there is interest in there work. Armed with this knowl;edge you can find out more information on a piece of art work you are interested in.

3)Buying artwork on ebay can be a scary decision. No one wants to buy a fake, or end up with a Original Re-print. For the Most part most part, sellers are honest and straight forward about the artwork. But its easy to be fooled.
