When buying ice skates there are many things to consider. Not all skates fit the same and they do not fit like your normal shoes. At least good quality skates. The length is important and so is the width of your skates. They come in many different models and width meassurements. So be sure of what your are ordering. If you buy a skate to big because you want growing room you are just wasting money on learning to skates classes or you can break in the boot incorrectly. This could also give you blisters. Going up 1/2 size is Ok for younger children that are still growing. But I do not recommend going up any bigger then that. Skating is a wonderful and fun sport. But do it with the right equipment. Do it with a good fit and the support of a qood quality skate. Go to www.Stores.ebay.com/Ice-Skate-Haven and see all the great Ice Skates, Blades and other great Ice Skating accessories. I do boot fittings for walk in Customers and also for online Shoppers. Any questions call me at 512-779-9054.
