Your guide to buying NEW, NWT, NWOT, and More Gymboree wholesale lots for resale.

There are sooo many boys and girls clothing lots for sale, and so many name brands, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap, Gymboree and more! HOW DO YOU CHOOSE? I wrote this guide to help you choose and hopefully avoid some of the mistakes beginners make (including myself when I began). I am concentrating on Gymboree because it is what I have had the most success with and seems to be the best selling children's clothes on ebay. Many of the basics in this guide can also be applied to other name brand lots. When reading through if you think of any questions write them down and email me with them, I'd be happy to answer them for you.

#1 FEEDBACK. Always check the feedback score of the seller, it is soooo important. Look at the positives and negatives. What were the negatives for? Who left the negative, are they new or have a bad score themselves? You will not always be able to please everyone so look at the overall of the score. When I started out on ebay I was snoockered 3 times when buying, they were all from people with a score under 35. Most sellers I believe are honest and will try to do right, but there are some bad apples out there so please use caution. Also look at whether the feedback of the seller was earned by buying, selling or both. If it is all from buying then you have no way of knowing what their selling ethics are. For smaller purchases (individual items or small lots/sets) I would not hesitate to purchase from someone with a small feedback score (40+) as long as the rating is good. For larger lots or even high ticket purchases I would be cautious and look for a higher score (75-100 minimum) with a very good rating.

#2 PAYPAL. I would NEVER purchase a lot of clothing (or personally anything else) with a seller who does not take paypal. Paypal has a buyer protection program so at least you have some protection if the seller does not fulfill their obligation. Check with paypal for their protections.

#3 PRODUCT COST. In this section we will look at 2 catagories, Clothing Lots and Accessory Lots. We will also look at NWT (new with tag), NWOT (new without tag), black dot, outlet, etc...

CLOTHING LOTS:

If you are purchasing your lot for resale this is an idea of amounts you should stick close to.

For NWT clothing lots you should desire to pay NO MORE than 40% of the retail value (this includes the shipping amount). Example:

**For a $500.00 lot you should pay NO MORE than $200.00 (cost of lot + shipping = $200.00 or less).

For NWOT or others you should not pay more than 30% of the RV. Example:

**For a $500.00 lot you should pay no more than $150.00 (cost of lot + shipping = $150.00 or less).

ACCESSORY LOTS:

Accessories add to the value of an outfit or set and some can be sold alone but overall you will probably not make as much on an accessory as clothing so the price you want to pay is different.

For NWT accessory lots you should desire to pay NO MORE than 35% of the RV. Example:

**For a $500.00 lot you should pay NO MORE than $175.00 (cost of lot + shipping = $175.00 or less).

For NWOT or others you should not pay more than 30% of the RV. Example:

**For a $500.00 lot you should pay no more than $150.00 (cost of lot + shipping = $150.00 or less).

#3 TAGS. Tags are important to how much you can get for your item! Please make sure you know what you are buying. If the listing does not say "no black dot or outlet" or something to that effect, ASK!!!! You are spending your hard earned money on the lot and you want to make money on it so know what you are getting!!

LET'S DO A QUICK OVERVIEW:

#1 Check all aspects of the sellers feedback

#2 Use paypal to pay for your purchase

#3 Know the maximum you are willing to spend

#4 ASK QUESTIONS

These are just a few important tips to help you get started in your ebay business. There is so much to learn, and in time and with experience you will decide what is best for your business. I hope this information was helpful to you!!
