Looking to save money? How much are you looking to save? Don't tell me this, ask yourself this! When you shop for furniture in particular, where do you shop? Kmart, WalMart, or do you go to a furniture store. When you want furniture that lasts don't go to Walmart and the like to shop for furniture. Go to a reputable store in your area. Sometimes mom and pop furniture stores are great. But from an insiders point of view I can tell you you can nogotiate. I don't care if they say "no, we don't barter anymore". I have sold furniture most my life and I won't mention the place I will tell you I think I was pretty good. Right at the top. We were number one in the country and still are. Trying to guess!? I won't tell. But I will tell you that buying furniture isn't hard, sales people of course are your best friends when you're there.  I will give your 3 easy steps for buying furniture at a furniture store. 1. Find what you are looking for first. If you can't find what you want, see if the sales person can help you. Use them as your pawn. Sometimes you can get a lot of help from them and if they can't help you sometimes they will get someone who can. 2. Let the sales person know you like a certain piece or pieces you found. They want to of course make the sale. So they will try to guide you to buy that piece. Now that you have indicated your interest let him sell his furniture. Listen to what he says. Be friendly here, because he now works for you. If you're rude he'll tell you he can't move on the price. So be kind and pleasant. 3. When he has worked up a price, look it over and say that it's to much. You were thinking such and such...make up a lower price you would like. If it comes to $3000. tell him $2400. He will then see what add-ons you would like. This is the extras or their profit center items like fabric protection, leather cleaner, etc..... Look those over too as sometimes they are good for you. I bought some myself for my home. When you add some add-ons to your order they they like to move a little more. Say, your buying a dining room table and chairs. It comes to $2000 total. They will knock off $200 if the table and chairs is all you want. But if your buy their fabric protection and the Home Care Kit which costs $99 for coverage. They will then knock off $400 and give you free delivery if you buy those add-on items. So you get the add-ons free and save a little extra. You can do it, go try it and save yourself some money. Then come back here to spend it! I appreciate your time and hope to see you as a customer. Thank you, Bruce
