Find the crystal in your price range, if you look around you will see the vaarious range of prices. Find the store or person who has everything priced affordable. You may see your crystal for $20 at one place and $60 at another. Its just common sense.

Talk to the seller, find out about them, get a feeling for who you are dealing with.

There are so many people selling crystals, and some can be lab grown, so again, ask if you have to.

Other than that, just keep in mind, your crystal is waiting for you, you just have to look. It may take some time, but eventually you will find the place that just feels right.
