Looks like there is a new trend out there for repainted lures. If I luck out and get one, I will either destroy it or fish with it til the paint wears off. Vintage lures sell for alot of money. Some people come by their money the easy way and some work very hard for it. I work hard for my money and I dont want to get ripped off. If you have a lure for sale and you know good and well its been repainted, state in the auction its repainted. Let guys like me bid on them. Yes, you may only sell it for 5 or 10 dollars and we all know you just got ripped off by paying over 100 for it a week ago. But dont try to pass the rip onto someone else. I have been blocked from bidding on auctions that offer fake lures and people are going to get hurt in the wallet by these folks! There is a black and red CCBC on right now. I will figure out a way to get it and get it cheap. The seller has threatened me via email and blocked me. My seller ID is ibuyrepaintedlures...obviously he doesnt want anyone to think his lure is repainted, then he can recoup the loss he made by ripping an unsuspected buyer off! Beware new collectors, this is the kind of stuff you should be educated about. Please vote on this post or comment.
