There are many good ebay sellers out there that are willing to go the extra mile when it comes to buying arcade games online. The key to a smooth transaction is to find a reliable seller.

Be sure to read the entire listing in full and contact the seller with any questions before you bid. Be sure the seller is accessible via email or phone so you may ask any questions you may have during the transaction.

Once you find a game your interested in, there is a number of things to consider before proceeding in your purchase.

The first thing to consider is the reputation of the seller. This is a two part factor. First is how long the seller has been a member of the ebay community. The second is how high their percentage of feedback is.

I'm not saying you should only buy from ebay members that have been selling for years with a 100% feedback rating, but the longer the seller has been a member of ebay and the higher the feedback rating, the better chance that you will have an easy and painless buying experience. Basically you need to feel comfortable throughout the whole transaction.

The second thing to consider is the shipping and handling of the game. In some cases the shipping and handling of a game can cost more than the game itself. Make sure you understand all parts of the sellers shipping and handling instructions. If there is something your not sure of, email or call the seller. Make sure you understand how the game will be delivered and how much it will cost you.

The third thing to consider is the condition of the game. Be sure the condition of the game matches up to your ability to fix and maintain the game. If you have a general knowledge of the basic arcade game parts and electronics, you may feel comfortable buying a game that needs alittle work. If you do not know anything about fixing or maintaining an arcade game, you should buy a game that is plug and play ready.

Buying an arcade game should be a fun and exciting experience. With a little research and commitment, you could be a proud owner of a piece of arcade game history.
