I'd bid on several items thru Bargainland before getting scorched by them. Paypal's assistance w/ the process was just as worthless. I'd won the bid on a desk, the photo was that of supposedly the box it was in. NOT! Amount paid was $63.00 total including the shipping. The box that arrived here was mummified with tape. It was evident that the damage was not done during shipping to my address. The box in the photo was not and there was no damage visible at all. When I opened the box sent, the desk was surrounded by broken styrofoam pieces along w/ pieces of wooden boards w/ nails sticking out of them. The desk was smashed, irrepairable. I immediately tried to make contact w/ the Seller and as the others here recieved no answer in the beginning. Finally they did respond w/ the fact that all items are sold as is due to the fact that they're a liquidation seller. I brought it to their attention that the box bid on was not the one received and that this was false advertisement no matter how they tried to explain it. They had the option to pay for the item to be returned to them being they sent the wrong item to me. They then offered a store credit of $40.00 to which I advised them that I'd not invested $63.00 to have to still pay to have the trash hauled to the city dump. The seller stopped responding buying time towards the deadline where Paypal won't help settle the dispute.  I then referred it to Paypal where upon completing the info. required, within less than approximate 20 seconds from sending it, I received an email from Paypal stating that there was nothing they could do to assist supposedly it didn't fall under any of the catagories, yet it did with the fact that the photo of the box being bid on was not the one sent, it's the same as being sent wrong item from what was ordered. The photo is represent of item bid on. I knew then that there was lost money. The best way to deal w/ Sellers of this type is not to do business w/ them, unless you like throwing your money away, then by all means, knock yourself out! You may pay a little more elsewhere but you will get what you actually ordered/bid on. There are plenty of Honest Sellers on eBay to do business w/. Doing business w/ Bargainland is like having won a bid on a Pandora's Box from HELL. Never again, I'm no fool.
