Hello all,
I almost entirely purchased my wedding needs on ebay. I found that I could purchase the same or very close to the same items found in boutiques on this fantastic website. Now some people are status conscious and want people to know their wedding planner went to only the finest wedding houses to purchase their items and if money is absolutely no object then more power to you. But, if you would like to spend the vitually hundreds of dollars I saved from shopping on ebay then listen-up. I had 200 people attend my wedding and reception. My husband and I received over 200 compliment regarding my gown, the decorations and lighting. I purchased all of these and more from ebay. Just one example: I had to take my gown to my seamstress for very minor alterations. She had the same gown in her store that I purchased from ebay. The tag on her gown was $975.00. I paid $80.00 with $12.00 shipping. This can be done. You just have to want to make it happen. I had a very grand wedding in my Greek Orthodox church. The pew bows, silk rose pedals, carpet runners, etc were all purchased on ebay. We spent a total of $2800.00 for the items purchased. If you would like to know more please let me know and I will give you tips and sites to visist to take a monitary monkey off your back so you will have a brilliant day. I know it is too good to be true but it is not. My husband urged me to share our knowledge with others so as to avoid the deep debt that is usually found after getting married.
