Just a little note about the new "Best Offer" category. It is really great, I have been able to counter offer on several of my items and have sold them all.
I think we all need to remember, buyers and sellers alike, that you are more likely to get your offer accepted if you stay within a decent offer range. If a seller has $20.00 on an item and they get an offer for $9.00, they are not likely to accept, but if you offer $16.00, you are likely to win the item. The flip side of this is that the seller needs to make sure not to inflate the price of an item, just to be able to accept an offer, we have very savvy buyers out there and I want return business, and, I am sure you do too.
I am sure this "Best Offer" does not work for everyone, that is why we have choices, but I for one love it! So far I have only had to turn down two offers, but I countered and they accepted, paid and their items are in the mail. It is really nice to be able to go back with a counter offer, and I appreciate this new feature! My buyers like it too, every thing I have sold in the last three days has been "Buy it Now or Best Offer". Try it, you might like it!
