As an avid collector, buyer and Ebay seller, few things excite me more than a "Mixed Lot".  My love for many things collectible was born in early childhood. When early one Saturday morning , with baggie of loose change in hand, my father took me to my first yard sale! Among the many items displayed in the front yard of the old farmhouse, I found an old cigar box...inside was a treasure trove!  A few diecast cars, several cats-eye marbles, a few buttons and a minature porcelain kitten...I Was Hooked! The terms, "Lot" and "Mixed Lot" are often interchangable. But for me, I think of a "Lot" as multiples of the same item whereas a "Mixed Lot" can be several items in a related category.  Regardless of which term is used in an Ebay listing, they can spell savings for Buyers and Sellers alike.

• Fast way to start and or build a collection
• You can save on shipping & handling fees
• Any duplicate or less desirable items you might get in a lot/mixed lot, can be used in arts & crafts projects, passed on to another collector or even sold individually for a profit!
